Ultrafiltration (UF) is a water treatment process of separating low molecular weight particles such as colloids and macromolecules from water with the help of a membrane filter by creating pressure. This filter media also known as semi-permeable membrane. It operates between 0.1 micron and 0.01 micron sensitivities. Ultrafiltration is using for turbidity, bacteria, viruses and microorganisms removal.
The ultrafiltration module works efficiently and stably in a wide variety of feedwater flow models. Clean water is filtered through “transpiration” with the cross flow treatment model. It is easy to maintenance and always produces the same quality water. Ultrafiltration modules should be periodically backwashed and chemically cleaned to protect against foulings.
